2024 Champions Celebration

2024 FCA Champions Celebration

We thank God for another successful FCA Champions Celebration! On Sunday night, March 24th, close to 400 people gathered to eat, celebrate, and give God praise. It was a night to thank God for our staff, board members, Huddle leaders, volunteers, our Home Team donors, prayer warriors, student leaders, and coaches!

Kelsey Bennett from Pettisville High School opened the night in prayer and then we enjoyed the great spread from Brookview Farm! We welcomed to the stage a group of people that shared an incredible glimpse of what has taken place in the ministry of FCA this past school year: Huddle Leader Joe Frank (Archbold HS) and students: Aniyah Copeland (Archbold HS); James Camper (Montpelier HS); Briggs Fiser (North Central MS); Gracie Butler (Napoleon HS); Sophie Sterken (Pettisville HS); Colt Ward (Defiance MS) and Klayton Boland (Fairview HS).

Pastor Jon Bruney, was our guest speaker who talked about impact and strength in God, while performing incredible feats of strength!

As the evening concluded, we brought to the stage our award winners. It’s obvious there were many who could have been on stage that evening, as we are blessed with a multitude of students living out their faith! We asked the adult Huddle leaders to nominate only a few. On stage gathered a glimpse of what God is doing in NW Ohio, and He is doing mighty things through these students and their peers!

Recently our staff had the privilege of gathering with over 2,700 FCA staff from around the world in one place. We met and listened to those who are standing strong in their faith including Coach Joseph Kennedy (Supreme Court case), Jonathan Isaac (Orlando Magic forward), Tony Dungy, and others. They shared about facing opposition and having to ask God for strength and boldness to stand up. What we discovered is that globally, big and small…Christians are standing up for God.

But you don’t have to travel far to see that God is giving strength to many here in NW Ohio. For the next few minutes, we shared over a dozen names of students and how they are being bold, finding their strength in God to stand and shine for Him!

I’m humbled and excited to be leading and serving alongside so many bold Christians in the ministry of FCA! Pastor Lucas Wilson closed the evening in prayer asking for God to encourage and continue to bless the ministry of FCA. Thank YOU for your continued prayers and support for this ministry – it’s making a difference!!!
